Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 June 2023
Set in Harewood’s beautiful grounds, children and adults will have the opportunity to learn basic bushcraft and woodland skills under the shade of our sustainable treehouse, Sylvascope.
Together each family group will work to build their own debris shelter before combining as a larger group to make a campfire and tuck into some (vegan) marshmallows. Participants can then enjoy a relaxed moment beneath the tree canopy and take in some spectacular views of the House.
Led by a qualified forest school leader, each session will last one hour and is recommended for ages 5-11. Tickets are available to pre-book now or on the door dependent on availability.
Session times:
11am–12pm
1pm–2pm
3pm–4pm
Due to the nature of this activity, we recommended full trousers & covered feet to protect from nettles and insect bites.
Keep an eye out for future Forest School dates announced throughout the year.
Please note a valid Harewood Membership or day ticket is required alongside your event ticket.
