As an independent educational charity, we’re committed to the conservation of the Grade I listed House, its historic gardens, and the stunning grounds that surround them. As an accredited museum, we also protect an internationally significant collection of art, furniture, and interior design, ensuring its legacy for future generations.

To support this essential work, the House must close at certain points during the year, allowing our team to carry out vital conservation and maintenance tasks.
