Colleges & Universities

Teachers and students are welcome to use Harewood as part of their academic teaching and research. We are always happy to discuss bespoke teaching and learning requirements. We welcome proposals about projects and collaborative programming related to the House, Grounds and Bird Garden.

Visit Harewood as part of student induction. We can offer free introductions for group visits. Our Seeds of Hope exhibition is relevant to History, Creative Arts and Environmental Science students, providing a local and imaginative view on the impact of World War 1 on Harewood, its staff, horticulture and husbandry. Open until 4 November.

Teach at Harewood

There is a wealth of opportunity on offer for engaging, informative talks and seminars. Visits can be arranged and must be scheduled before your trip to ensure a comfortable learning experience. Contact our team to find out more.

As an educational trust, Harewood is happy to support research projects. With extensive collections of art, objects and exotic birds, there is a wide variety of subjects to study. Our teams are happy to discuss your potential learning and research proposals.
