Saturday 9 – Saturday 16 September 2023
10am – 1pm
In this beginners’ workshop, you will explore watercolour techniques to paint classic symbols of autumn, including leaves and toadstools. You will embrace the warm earthy tones of the season, exploring the detailed surfaces and textures of dried leaves and harvest crops.
Throughout the workshop you will observe live demonstrations and follow illustrated process sheets, exploring a variety of brushes and strokes to create different shaped leaves and petals.
All materials will be provided and you’ll take home a series of botanical paintings and illustrated handouts to practice your new skills at home.
Kate’s work is defined by delicate watercolours where she takes inspiration from the flora and fauna of the natural world. She offers both semi-custom and bespoke wedding stationary as well as a collection of cards and art prints.
A 14 day cancellation policy applies to all workshops. As commercial workshops support our charitable activities, and materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than two weeks before the workshop date should you wish to cancel your place.
Should Harewood House Trust need to cancel a workshop, your ticket will be refunded in full.
