5pm – 6pm

Are you brave enough to uncover the secrets that lurk in the shadows?

Step into the eerie twilight of the grand rooms on the State Floor as ghostly tales and mysterious legends of Harewood House come to life.

Guided by our resident ghost-hunter, Harriet, you will encounter Grim, the fearsome Anglo-Saxon, who met an untimely death protecting his land from those pesky Normans. Nurse Nancy will also make an appearance, telling you all about how Harewood House was used as a hospital during WW1 and how she feels about the dreaded Spanish flu.

But make sure to keep your wits about you, the Grey Lady has a tendency to appear when you least expect it!

Come join us, if you dare…

Fancy dress is encouraged—whether you’re a wicked witch or a sneaky skeleton, join us for an afternoon of story telling.

Be sure to book your tour in advance to avoid disappointment and don’t forget to purchase general admission tickets in addition to Scarewood House Unlocked.

Please ensure you book a day ticket for Harewood alongside your Scarewoood ticket or have a valid membership card that covers all ghost hunters.
