Work together in the woods to build a natural shelter using woodland materials, then test if it can withstand the elements. A fun, hands on family adventure focused on teamwork, creativity & outdoor exploration.

Can your shelter beat the elements?

Step into the woods at Harewood for a hands on family adventure like no other.

In this outdoor challenge, families will work together to design and build their own woodland shelters using natural materials gathered from the surrounding landscape. Creativity, teamwork & a sense of adventure are essential as you transform sticks, branches & woodland debris into a structure strong enough to withstand the elements.

Once built, your shelter will face its ultimate test, where you’ll discover just how weatherproof your design really is.

This is a relaxed, fun filled session designed to bring families together outdoors while encouraging exploration, problem solving & a deeper connection with nature.

No experience is needed, just come prepared to build, explore & maybe get a little muddy.
