Harewood Community Access Membership (CAM) is an annual membership for charitable organisations who support local communities in the North, South and West Yorkshire areas. We aim to provide access for audiences who would not be able to visit Harewood without this support.

Harewood House Trust is dedicated to welcoming a more diverse range of visitors so that our communities feel truly represented. We aim to be a valuable resource for those who haven’t visited Harewood yet, but would benefit from the wide range of cultural and natural experiences we offer.

Priority will be given to organisations who support our focus audiences listed below. However, this list is not exhaustive and applications are assessed on a case by case basis to support the widest range of local communities possible.

  • Children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Local families from low-income households
  • Care experienced young people
  • Local visitors of the global majority

CAM groups will be allocated 250 free admissions per calendar year providing access to the House, Gardens and Grounds.

The membership is intended for use by group service users, their carers, accompanying support workers and volunteers, and next of kin.

We aim to build relationships with each charity joining the scheme, enabling them to make the most of their visits to Harewood.

Feedback from CAM members will be valuable in our work building further community initiatives and access resources in the future.
