National Curriculum Key Stage 2: History
Discover the stories of Harewood’s Anglo-Saxon past in our inspiring, character-led workshop.
Your pupils will be transported back in time to the year 1065, where they will meet three Anglo-Saxon Chieftains still living on Harewood land – Tor, Sprot and Grim.
Through practical and fun activities based in our learning space and across our Gardens and Grounds, pupils will learn about Anglo-Saxon art and culture, Britain’s conversion to Christianity and will even try their luck as a Anglo-Saxon warrior.
