Please note that the last admission time to the Bird Garden and House is half an hour before closing time. The Bird Garden closing times vary slightly with the season, please call or see signs at the Bird Garden entrance.

The village of Harewood is centrally placed in Yorkshire at the junction of the A61/A659 on the Leeds/Harrogate road.

You may wish to use a route planner – our postcode is LS17 9LG, although Sat Nav users are recommended to try LS17 9LQ as this will bring you straight to the main Archway entrance to Harewood off the A61.
Visitors who choose to come to Harewood by bus get in for half price (applies to Harewood Freedom Tickets), so visit the ‘green way’ and save money. Harewood is situated on two good bus routes:
No 36 to Harewood from Leeds and Harrogate now runs every 15 Minutes during the day on Monday to Saturdays and every 30 Minutes during the day on Sundays. For more details please call Harrogate and District on 01423 566061 or click here to visit their website, harrogatebus.co.uk

Upon arrival to Harewood Village you need only walk through the main archway, to connect with a free shuttle service that will take you along the driveway to the House. This service is possible thanks to a grant from the Countryside Agency.
Our nearest rail stations are Leeds and Harrogate. Taxis and bus connections are available.
