I have volunteered at Harewood for more than 10 years and it is one of my best decisions. Fellow volunteers are now friends who if not for Harewood I would never have met. Interacting with visitors and seeing the pleasure and enjoyment they get from the house and its history never fades”

When I retired, I knew I wanted to Volunteer and Harewood was the first opportunity that opened up for me. As a result of the positive experiences of volunteering at Harewood, I have taken on other opportunities at a local, national and international level. Thank you, Harewood, for looking after us in such a caring way and for making us of a “certain age” realise that we still have plenty to offer.

Safe and welcoming space
We feel we have created a safe welcoming space, where all volunteers can flourish, contribute meaningfully and feel a sense of belonging.
We want to give you the opportunity to join our volunteer community and help
you in your aims as much as you support us in ours.
We look forward to hearing from you.
