Get ready for an unforgettable family adventure this February Half Term!
Join participatory artists Leap Then Look as they transform Harewood House into an exciting, interactive art space where creativity knows no bounds.
Leap Then Look’s unique collection of interactive artworks and resources, developed in collaboration with families, invites you to explore art in unexpected ways.
Throughout the House, you’ll find activities that encourage imagination, discovery, and collaboration.
Make and build: Construct sculptures of all sizes using wooden pieces, dowels, wire, and playful padded shapes that can be worn and connected.
See in new ways: Experiment with optical objects that change your perspective and explore how different viewpoints, magnifications, and distortions transform the space around you.
Create patterns and designs: Weave colourful string patterns on a flower pegboard or complete unfinished Harewood inspired designs with your own artistic flair.
Play with sound: Speak and listen through a network of long tubes suspended across the room, discovering how sound travels in unexpected ways.
Whether you’re sculpting, sketching, building, or exploring, every activity invites you to step into the world of art and creativity.
Come and make something amazing together at Harewood House this half term!
