We love involving volunteers in the work we do and we want to give opportunities to as wide a range of people as possible. Volunteers bring a wealth of experience and get involved for many different reasons; including a love of heritage and gardens, to gain employability skills, and for social contact. We welcome everyone and hope to be able to support volunteers in their aims as much as they support us in ours.

+ Seasonal Event Ambassadors
For seven weeks between 12th November and 2nd January 2023 we will be looking for volunteer Seasonal Event Ambassadors to help facilitate Long Live the Christmas Tree!
Based inside Harewood House, your role will be to engage with our visitors, introduce them to the festive exhibition and help manage the visitor flow to ensure everyone has a wonderful visit. No previous experience of heritage or volunteering is required; just an enthusiasm to engage and ignite the imaginations of our visitors.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available everyday and on selected Fridays and Saturdays late evening openings. Harewood is well served by the 36 bus service and we will reimburse your travel expenses.
