We love involving volunteers in the work we do and we want to give opportunities to as wide a range of people as possible. Volunteers bring a wealth of experience and get involved for many different reasons; including a love of heritage and gardens, to gain employability skills, and for social contact. We welcome everyone and hope to be able to support volunteers in their aims as much as they support us in ours.

Welcome Volunteer
Welcome Volunteers are based at our outdoor Membership and Information Hut, and they are the first point of contact for our diverse range of visitors, providing a friendly welcome, offering information, answering questions and providing general assistance. It’s a great role for someone who enjoys talking to people and delivering excellent visitor service, and would suit anyone who’s friendly, reliable and has a here-to-help attitude.
Shifts are available every day from 10am-5pm, with flexible hours and timing.

Shifts are available most days from 11am -3pm.
Harewood is well served by the 36 Bus Service and we reimburse travel expenses.
