The Events Executive role is a varied and hands-on role combining sales, planning, and operational delivery. You’ll take the lead on a range of projects—from initial enquiry through to execution—helping to maximise income through commercial hire, filming, and outdoor events.
From large-scale public festivals and filming productions to corporate hire and private bookings, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, high-profile events that generate vital income to support the Trust’s charitable work.
Key Reponsibilities
- Lead the sales, planning and delivery of allocated venue hire, outdoor events and filming projects from enquiry to completion.
- Take ownership of the Christmas Markets, ensuring delivery within budget and an exceptional experience for visitors and traders.
- Proactively generate sales and meet agreed income targets and KPI’s.
- Manage events budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of income and expenditure.
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure timely, professional client communication.
- Prepare and manage event documentation, including contracts, invoices, safety plans, and risk assessments.
- Identify new business opportunities to grow venue hire and commercial activity.
- Represent the Trust at networking events, trade shows and industry engagements.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, partners and internal teams.
- Support the Events Manager on large scale events and filming projects.
- Ensure all activity complies with policies, licensing and legislation.
- Deliver excellent customer service and uphold high standards across all events.
- Promote the Trust’s corporate membership scheme.
About You
You’ll be a highly motivated and organised events professional with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. You’ll have previous experience in an events role and in sales, with a track record of meeting targets. With strong networking and relationship building skills, you are a confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
