Reframing Reynolds
A brand new exhibition on the State Floor from Fri 17 Mar
Marking 300 years since the birth of Sir Joshua Reynolds, Harewood will showcase its celebrated collection of family portraits by the artist in an exciting new exhibition. A special children’s guide will help kids learn all about this famous painter, inspiring them to think about how grand portraits reflected on the sitter and 18th century society.

Learn about Harewood’s beautiful red kites and connect with nature. Meet red kites, explore art trails and make your own kite to fly on our North Lawn.

April is the start of our new free LEGO Club – build on a new theme each month!

The Coronation
May Bank Holidays
Celebrate the coronation of King Charles III with royal activities across Harewood, from a display about the Lascelles family’s presence at previous coronations to fun crafts and games.
Meet the Tashi Lhunpo Monks
May half term
Learn about the culture of the Tashi Lhunpo monks who are visiting Harewood, through workshops, performances and the creation of a sand mandala.
Great British Food Festival
27-29 May
Harewood welcomes back this fantastic family event, full of delicious food and drink to sample and buy plus demos, music and family activities.
JULY
Medieval Harewood
For the national Festival of Archaeology, take part in kid-friendly ‘dig’ activities to learn about Gawthorpe Hall, the medieval manor on Harewood’s South Park.

Harvest Festival
A fun-filled new weekend event with apple-pressing, tractor tours, delicious food and much more.
OCTOBER
Folklore + Fairytales
October half term
Across the North Front woodlands, explore folklore, mythology and legends, plus enjoy a pumpkin trail around the site.
NOVEMBER
Following the huge success of the 2022 event, Little Bird Made’s Artisan Winter Market will be back at Harewood with hundreds of local independent makers.
