Support Us

Harewood House is run by an independent charity which relies entirely on your support.

To protect its future, the house and its collections demand constant attention; an annual programme of conservation, restoration and maintenance requires significant skill, time and expense. Harewood would not still be open to the public without the support of our visitors, members, donors and corporate partners.

Each year the charity must generate more than £3.5million to keep its doors open; by supporting us through donations, membership, patronage and volunteering, you join us in our efforts to keep the house and gardens open to the public.

Membership

With unlimited access to everything we have to offer, Harewood membership means you need not miss a thing. Join us today and make it your Harewood.

Patrons of Harewood

Join a special community of donors who have pledged to help secure the future of this historic site and its magnificent collections.

With your generous support, we can build on the successes of the talented architects, designers, craftsmen/women, and collectors who created this magical place and kept it alive for everyone to enjoy.

To thank you for your support, and to show the profound impact you make, Patrons are invited to a range of unique experiences, offering behind-the-ropes visits and unique insights from the people who conserve our unique collections.

Leave a Legacy

Remembering Harewood House Trust in your will ensures the protection of Harewood today and preserves it for others to enjoy tomorrow.

For more information on how you can leave a gift for the charity, and how your support can have a long-lasting legacy, please contact Emily Booker at emily.b@harewood.org

Corporate Partnerships

Harewood aligns itself with a select number of corporate partners who share our brand values and enable us to continue to deliver high quality experiences for the benefit of the public.

Join us today and open up the (many) benefits of Harewood to your staff and clients; enjoy unrivalled access, unique hospitality opportunities and be a part of shaping what makes an historic country estate relevant, dynamic and engaging in the 21st century.

Gift Aid Explained

Gift Aid increases the value of donations given to charities by UK Tax Payers This includes Membership and Patrons Support. By signing a Gift Aid Declaration Form, we can claim an additional 20% donation from the government at no extra cost to you.

Unfortunately, standard tickets do not qualify as a donation and are therefore not eligible for Gift Aid. This is why we ask our visitors to donate an additional 10% on top of the entrance fee if they are able. Whilst not compulsory, this ensures your money goes even further.
