Discover the joy of being creative with our Monthly Harewood Art Club.

Taking place on the third Sunday of every month, each session will allow children to release their inner artist while developing new skills.

All sessions are led by an experienced art teacher and will feature different themes to explore each month and will take place within the Education Suite, located inside our Courtyard.

There will be three sessions at 10:30-11:30am, 12-1pm + 1.30-2.30pm.

Booking is currently available for all future sessions up until June. 

What's next?

Our next session will take place on Sun 21 April: This session will look at making hanging stained glass images using card and tissue. Children are encouraged to bring their ideas or references to use if they wish

Upcoming Themes

May – Natural forms
Exploring the decorative qualities, and natural colours of natural forms to develop into a painted Composition. Explaining the basis of what makes a good Composition in a painting. Acrylic paints will be the main medium.

June – Celebrations
Looking at imagery connected with party/carnival/celebration, this will be mixed media using tissue and pen and ink

July – Creatures above and below
Join us in making models with air-fired clay ( to be painted at home) children are encouraged to bring images in that they may choose to use as a starting point.
