With the perfect recipe for the bank holiday weekend, the Great British Food Festival returns to Harewood again this May.
This year’s Great British Food Festival is shaping up to be our most exciting yet, with a host of brand-new features designed to elevate the visitor experience. We’re welcoming a fantastic lineup of new traders alongside a brand-new main stage, showcasing live entertainment and demonstrations throughout the day. Guests can also get hands-on with our new programme of masterclasses, from interactive cooking sessions to paint-and-sip experiences and other creative activities. Families can look forward to a bigger and better kids’ zone, packed with fun for all ages, while roaming entertainment brings added energy and surprise across the site. Tying it all together, we’re thrilled to introduce our new GBFF MC host, ensuring an engaging, vibrant atmosphere from start to finish.
Take a good helping of local and artisan producers, a big serving of tasty hot food vendors, add a dash of bars, a sprinkling of children’s activities, a dollop of top chef demos, stir in some competitions, with lashings of excellent live music, and mix together to make a fabulous foodie family day out!
The event attracts lots of producers showcasing the best in local, seasonal and specialty food and drink, and it’s a great opportunity to get a real taste of the best of Great British produce. With Great Britain’s amazing mix of cultures and cuisines, you can try some more exotic elements or the best local burgers and sausages for those with more traditional tastes.
