Harewood is a great day out for all the family, including four legged family members. With over 100 acres for all to explore, there is plenty for your dog to see and sniff!
Dogs are welcome here at Harewood, but we require that they are kept on a lead at all times throughout the site for the comfort and safety of our other visitors, and for our free roaming wildlife across the Grounds. Staff are required to politely enforce this rule across the site.
Dogs are not allowed in the House, Woodland Wonderland, Adventure Playground and indoor areas of the cafés.
For the wellbeing of the animals, dogs are also not allowed in the Farm Experience and around the Penguin Pool – even the most well behaved dog can disturb some of these Harewood residents.
There are lots of areas to sniff and explore, and plenty of walks for the whole family to enjoy! We recommend the Three Parks Walk and heading round the Lakeside Path to the Bothy Teahouse and Walled Garden.
Water bowls can be found in our Courtyard, at the Bothy and on the Terrace, and you can even treat your pup to some doggy ice cream from the Courtyard Café.
We also encourage you to take lots of photos of your visit and share them on socials with the hashtag #Harewoof and check out our What’s On Page for upcoming doggy related events.
