Iwona Blazwick is a curator, writer and Lead Curator for Arts AlUla.

Formerly at the Whitechapel Gallery, Tate Modern and ICA London she has curated numerous solo and group shows of modern and contemporary art, advised on the acquisition and display of art collections and commissioned art in the landscape around the world. She is on the advisory board of the GLA’s Fourth Plinth and Sculpture in the City projects in London; and serves on the board of Pangaea Sculptors’ Centre, Coventry.

Blazwick was founding editor of Phaidon Contemporary Artists monographs and Whitechapel Gallery/ MIT Documents of Contemporary Art.  Blazwick’s writings on the art and artists of our time have appeared in numerous monographs, catalogues and journals.
