A model for a stupa built at Harewood between 2004-2005 in the Himalayan Garden.
The earliest stupas were built in order to house the earthly remains of the Buddha. They now represent the spiritual path suggested by Buddhist teachings.
A stupa was built at Harewood in 2004-2005, and is the only one of its kind in Europe. It is located in the Himalayan Garden.
