We are looking for casual Food & Beverage Team Members to join our existing team to support the the smooth running of our catering areas, including our popular Courtyard Cafe, Bothy Teahouse, Terrace Cafe, Ice Cream Kiosk, Harewood Horsebox and our wonderful events.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Members to join our team at Harewood and help make every visitor’s day brighter, more enjoyable and memorable.

You’ll be a key part of our hospitality team, supporting our catering outlets, events and wider visitor experience.  Whether you are welcoming visitors, supporting the team or making sure everything runs smoothly, you’ll play an important role in delivering high standards which our visitors expect.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead by example – Act as a positive role model and champion excellent customer service across the team.
  • Create memorable experiences – Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and feedback, ensuring every visitor feels welcome and valued.
  • Keep things running smoothly – Support the day-to-day operation of multiple catering areas, ensuring service is efficient, friendly and professional.
  • Keep our outlets looking their best – Make sure products are beautifully presented, packaging is available and POS is accurate and displayed in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support sales and profitability – Use EPOS information and sales trends to help inform repeat orders, maximise sales and minimise waste.
  • Maintain accurate records – Set up and maintain EPOS records and supplier information accurately.
  • Support fantastic events – Help deliver conferencing, fine dining and other special events to a consistently high standard.
  • Support and motivate the team – Work closely with the Food & Beverage Managers to achieve targets, keep colleagues motivated and drive the business forward.
  • Think commercially – Support the analysis of sales and costs, helping the team manage expenditure and improve efficiency.
  • Solve problems confidently – Stay calm under pressure, respond positively to challenges and be ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Champion high standards – Maintain excellent standards of service, cleanliness, food safety and health & safety at all times.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a natural people person who thrives in a busy, visitor-focused environment.
  • Has experience in retail, catering or hospitality.
  • Barista style experience is beneficial, though full training will be provided.
  • Is confident supporting and motivating within a team.
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Is calm under pressure, adaptable and able to think on their feet.
  • Has a proactive approach and can spot what needs doing before being asked.
  • Takes pride in presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Can work with EPOS (with training)
  • Is happy to get stuck in and support the team wherever needed.
