About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Shift Leader, you’ll take charge of the day to day running of one of our vibrant catering outlets — including the Courtyard Café, Terrace Café, Bothy Teahouse, Ice Cream Kiosk, and our much-loved Horsebox.

You’ll lead from the front: motivating the team, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring every visitor enjoys a high-quality food and drink experience.

This is a varied, hands-on role. One day you might be supervising service in a busy café, the next supporting elegant fine dining or large outdoor events.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading daily operations across our catering outlets
  • Inspiring and supporting your team to deliver exceptional service
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries and feedback
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and brand consistency
  • Supporting conferencing, events, and fine dining experiences
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld
  • Using EPOS data to help drive sales and reduce waste
  • Helping implement new processes to improve efficiency and quality

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident, hands-on leader who loves working with people
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to a varied role
  • Experience in a café, restaurant, or events environment (supervisory experience desirable)
