Harewood House Trust is seeking an experienced Focus Group Recruitment Specialist to support the Reimagining Harewood project, funded through the National Lottery Heritage Fund Development Phase.
We’re looking for someone to recruit up to 30 people from Leeds’ African-Caribbean and descendant communities to take part in up to three focus groups at Harewood between January and August 2027.
The focus groups will help shape plans for Harewood’s future, including building design, interpretation and programme activity, while exploring barriers to engagement and opportunities to create a more inclusive visitor experience.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from consultants with:
- Experience recruiting for focus groups, ideally on sensitive topics
- Strong community engagement and communication skills
- Empathy and tact when approaching participants about potentially emotive subjects
- Experience working with Global Majority communities
We will consider tenders from the same consultant for both this opportunity and the Audience Development Consultant opportunity advertised separately.
If you have the experience and approach to help us build meaningful participation, we’d love to hear from you.
Please read the full job description and complete the tender application attached to the right of this page.
