Take a stroll across the North Front and you will find a one-of-a-kind treehouse tucked away in the enchanting woodland, ready to be explored by adventurers of all ages.

Created by leading environmental designer Sebastian Cox, Sylvascope was commissioned by Harewood House Trust as part of the Harewood Craft Biennial 2022. This immersive structure invites families to step into nature, spark curiosity, and learn through play.

Sylvascope was designed to raise conversations around the importance of sustainable woodland management, and the process of selectively felling trees for timber and in order to promote space for regenerative growth and the establishment of new wildlife habitats.

Whether you’re visiting from Leeds, Harrogate or York, Sylvascope Treehouse is a spot you won’t want to miss on your visit to Harewood.
