Harewood Holiday Club (ages 7-11)

Discover the magic of the woodland this Winter with our Winter Wonderers Holiday Club. Designed for curious young explorers this session offers a fun, engaging and educational experience entirely outdoors.

Children will spend the day taking part in a variety of Forest School activities, including building debris and tarp shelters, ebug hunts, creating bird feeders and learning about fire safety in a hands-on, safe environment. Each activity encourages problem-solving and teamwork while fostering a connection with nature and building confidence.

Our friendly Education Team guide every activity, ensuring children can take part safely while having fun. With plenty of opportunities for free exploration, children will develop practical skills, observation abilities, and an appreciation for the natural world, all while enjoying the fresh Winter air.

Get stuck in to a day of collage and printmaking, celebrating the natural winter plants and animals of Harewood.

Travel back to Harewood during wartime!

Yes, but you will need to fill out a separate Harewood Holiday Club Information Form for each child.

Bookings must be made at least 10 days in advance.

Holiday Club is for children aged 7-11 only.

Our qualified Learning Team will lead each day of our Holiday Club:

Mary, Learning and Engagement Officer

Megan, Learning and Engagement Assistant

John, Outdoor Education Officer

The drop off and pick up point will be our Education Suite located in the Courtyard.

Our site doesn’t open to the public until 10am.

On arrival, make yourself known to security by using the intercom found to the right of our entrance gate. If the ticket barrier is also closed, please press the buzzer attached to the ticket office on the left next to the fence.

We will spend a lot of time outdoors, so please come prepared with a change of clothes, waterproof jacket and wellies or walking boots. Please ensure all belongings have your child’s name on.

Lunch will be provided, but please bring along a water bottle with your child’s name that can be refilled throughout the day.

Lunch will be a sandwich box, including fruit and snacks.
