If Walls Could Talk with Dr Louise Atkinson

The Chinese wallpaper in the East Bedroom at Harewood House is the focus of a new project, If Walls Could Talk, which combines historical research with participatory art in partnership with Chinese-speaking communities in Leeds.

Exploring the Wild Side: Minibeast Safari at Harewood

Armed with butterfly nets, observation pots and field identification guides, participants set out across beautiful Sun Sides to spot, catch and study insects up close. From the delicate butterflies to beautiful beetles, each find offers a new insight into the miniature wildlife that helps keep our countryside thriving. Every creature is carefully released back into its habitat, ensuring the meadow’s residents remain undisturbed.

The Chippendale Triangle: Free Family Activities in June

To mark the birthday of renowned furniture designer Thomas Chippendale this June, Nostell, Temple Newsam, and Harewood House Trust will come together to form a collaborative cultural partnership: the Chippendale Triangle.
