Book day tickets to Christmas at Harewood House, Gardens and Grounds, Yorkshire's most vibrant country house.

Nestled in the heart of Yorkshire, just 20 minutes from Leeds and Harrogate, Christmas at Harewood is the perfect time to create festive memories that last a lifetime.

This year, our magnificent State Floor will once again shimmer with Christmas splendour as interior designer Siobhan Murphy (TV’s Interior Design Masters and Interior Curve) transforms Harewood with her signature maximalism, bold patterns and joyous colour.

What to expect on your visit:

  • Follow the story of our glittering host as she holds a Grand Christmas Ball even the Bridgertons would be envious of. A reimagining of Regency splendour for 2025, it’s Christmas with a sense of theatre and wonder. A season to ignite the imagination and delight every generation.
  • Wander through more than 140 acres of gardens, including the award-winning Terrace Garden, Himalayan Garden, and the Walled Garden. Perfect for relaxed winter walks with friends, family and furry friends.
  • Enjoy family-friendly activities, from free trails in the House, to toasting marshmallows around an open fire.

Whether you’re looking for a festive family day out near Leeds, Harrogate and York, a peaceful winter walk through our iconic gardens, or a journey through British history and culture, Harewood offers something for everyone this Christmas.

Car Parking at Harewood this Christmas

During our Christmas period, a car parking pass is required in addition to your ticket.

Please note that only one parking pass is needed per vehicle, not per person. You will be prompted to add this to your basket after selecting tickets.

Harewood Members do not need to pre book car parking for Christmas.

How Gift Aid works

We offer two sets of tickets:

  1. A standard admission price (without Gift Aid)
  2. A Gift Aid admission, which includes up to a 10% voluntary donation on top of the standard price

If you choose the ticket with the donation and are a UK taxpayer, then we can claim an additional 25% from the government on the whole amount paid, including the 10% donation, because it counts as a charitable donation.

That means your £25.25 Gift Aid ticket is worth £31.56 to Harewood, significantly boosting our income as a charity, and help our House, Grounds and Gardens to thrive for future generations.
