Seasonal Soap Making Workshops

• Two Sunshine Soaps: The uplifting scent of citrus essential oils makes hand washing a pleasure! This soap is topped with dried Calendula petals.
• Three Charcoal & Clay Spa Bar: This bergamot scented bar is great for using in the shower, the addition of charcoal means it’s great for more oily skin.
• Three Lavender Gardeners Scrub: This lavender and rosemary scented bar contains poppy seeds, a natural exfoliant, brilliant for cleansing hands.

• 2 x Peppermint & Lemongrass scented soaps.  A pretty Winter scene in a soap! Christmas tree and snowmen embeds encased within a clear soap with silver bioglitter.
• 3 x Snowflake soaps scented with peppermint essential oil and coloured with sparkly silver and blue micas.  The perfect stocking filler!
• 3 x Pink Himalayan Salt & Charcoal Soaps.  Pink Himalayan salt make for an exfoliating soap delicately scented with lemon and rosemary essential oils.

• 3 x Calendula & Nettle Soaps. Coloured with ground marigold petals and nettle leaf powder these pretty soaps have an uplifting citrus scent. (Contains lime, peppermint & juniper berry essential oils)
• 2 x Lavender & Geranium soaps. Fun pink and white heart embeds float in a lavender and geranium scented clear soap. (Contains lavender and geranium essential oils)
• 2 x Oatmeal & Orange Soaps. These mildly exfoliating soaps are enriched with honey and finely ground oatmeal. (Contains orange and may change essential oils)

• On arrival, please park in our main visitor car park and make your way, on foot, to the Courtyard entrance.
• A member of the Harewood team will greet you at the Courtyard and show you to the workshop location.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop start time to allow yourself time to park and make your way to the Courtyard.
• Workshop locations are subject to change.
• Further arrival details will be emailed to all ticket holders 1 day before the workshop.

A 14 day cancellation policy applies to all workshops. As commercial workshops support our charitable activities, and materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than two weeks before the workshop date should you wish to cancel your place.

Should Harewood House Trust need to cancel a workshop, your ticket will be refunded in full.

Wharfedale Soaps started on a rainy day back in 2018. It was the summer holidays and to keep her children entertained Rachael decided to make bath bombs with them.  From bath bombs it was a natural progression to start creating soap.

Rachael decided to research soapmaking and was shocked to find the number of toxins and chemicals that we used in high-street bought soap. From her own experience she knew that many of the ingredients were not needed and harmful to our skin.

Rachael wanted to create an alternative soap – ones without toxins and would be kinder to skin.

Wharfedale Soaps now makes soaps and moisturiser bars that can be bought across the UK and regularly host soapmaking workshops in the local area.
