How to Book

Once you’ve decided which session you would like to book, or if you would like to come to Harewood on a self-guided visit, submit an online booking form and we will begin to process your booking.  Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information at this stage, we will get in touch with you to finalise details or discuss options.  Please feel free to phone or email if you’re not sure of anything.

Opening Hours

Gardens and Grounds 10am to 5pm, last entry 4pm.
Bird Garden and Farm Experience 10am to 5pm, last entry 4.15pm.
Courtyard Café 10am to 5.30pm
House 11am to 4pm, last entry 3.45pm.

Lunches: Home-brought food can be enjoyed in the picnic areas or outdoor seating widely available or the Education Suite can be booked for a fee.

Facilities + Special Needs

Our on-site facilities include coach parking, toilets, our Courtyard and Terrace Cafés, the Second Hand Bookshop and the Courtyard Shop. 

Unfortunately, we have limited capacity to offer an indoor or covered lunch space. There is however, plenty of outdoor space and picnic tables to use within the grounds.

School groups can pre-book our Education Suite to use for lunches for a fee of £25 to cover deep clean costs or for a fee of £15 for storage use.

Must be pre-booked a minimum of 2 weeks prior to visit. 

We welcome pupils with special needs. Workshops, Talks and Tours can be tailored to suit your requirements. The public areas of the House including Below Stairs and most of the site facilities are wheelchair accessible. Pre-booked Ice Lollies

Did you know that you can pre-book ice lollies for your pupils? Take advantage of a discounted school rate too. All lollies must be pre-booked a minimum of 7 days in advance of your visit to qualify for the reduced rate. Contact the team for details and to book.

For further information or assistance with planning your visit you can contact our Learning Team on learn@harewood.org or you can complete our online booking form.

Once you have made your booking, teachers and other educators are invited to make a free planning visit to Harewood. Please contact us if you would like to carry out a pre-visit, and we can arrange for your complimentary teacher tickets to be distributed.

There is no need to pre-book your pre-visit unless you would like to make an appointment to meet with the education staff to help plan your trip. Please be aware that we reserve the right not to grant free entry and may request proof of your planning.
