11am – 1pm
Join the British Deer Society this half term to embark on a deer safari through the Harewood Estate.
In honour of Halloween, the British Deer Society will not only be sharing facts about our Red, Fallow and Roe deer but also talking all things bats! It’s the perfect time to catch the last few days of the Deer Rut, a true wildlife spectacle.
You’ll be treated to some beautiful Yorkshire countryside whilst taking in the multitude of wildlife around the Estate. Your guide from the Deer Society will try to get you as close to the deer as possible so you can capture some breath-taking photos.
Tickets for this event include access to Harewood.
Please note: sensible footwear is recommended. This is a two hour walk through the deer park which also includes steep slopes and uneven ground. This walk may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility, please enquire before booking if you have any concerns. We cannot guarantee the location of any wild animals on this walk.
From pumpkin painting and wildlife safaris to outdoor cinema screens, we’ve got an amazing lineup of family-friendly autumn events this October Half Term.
