Wedding Presents Audio Tour

Many wedding presents from Princess Mary’s marriage to Henry Lascelles can be seen in the House, so to celebrate the centenary of the occasion, Curator Beckie Burton has recorded a fascinating audio tour just for Members. Listen along on your own device as you stroll through the House, to learn the stories behind these beautiful and meaningful objects.
Wedding Dress Curator Drop-In

A very rare and special opportunity to see Princess Mary’s wedding dress up close, and chat to our Curator about its design, manufacture, and significance. The 100-year old dress is so fragile that it’s rarely out of storage, so don’t miss the chance to see it during this drop-in session.
After-School Bird Club
£2 per child // 4.30-5.30pm, Tue 19 + Thu 21 Apr
Nature-loving kids will jump at the chance to get behind-the-scenes with the Bird Garden team on one of these sessions! Help the team prepare food and then have a special tour to meet the birds.

Walled Garden Drop-In with our Senior Gardener

Pop by to chat to our Senior Gardener India Sida-Murray as she works in the Walled Garden. Whether you’d like to learn more about our no-dig method, see what’s growing or find out about the history of this beautiful spot, India will be happy to answer all your gardening queries.

This Spring the Horsebox will be situated by the Woodland Wonderland, so it’s a great spot to get some refreshment while the kids race through the willow maze! As always, Harewood Members get priority booking for our events, and April and May events will go on sale to Members on Thursday 17 February. Keep an eye on your emails for some wonderful experiences in wellbeing, making + growing, and history + conservation – all themes that are close to our hearts at Harewood.

Members get 10% off food, drink and shopping at Harewood – a great excuse (if you needed one!) to treat yourself during your day out. Look out for seasonal recipes and new product ranges coming this Spring, and don’t forget that our gifts are available online too.
