Rosa Harradine has delved into artisanal pursuits such as carving wooden spoons, crafting bowls on a traditional pole lathe and basket weaving. The art of brush and broom making is her primary captivation. Every object is meticulously handcrafted, employing only manual techniques.
The sole mechanised tool in her arsenal is an electric chainsaw, used for cutting wood sourced from her woodland plot to fashion broom handles.
Harradine was chosen as a TOAST New Maker in 2022.
