What does the role involve?
Meeting and greeting our visitors. Helping them get more enjoyment out of their visit by chatting to them about Harewood House, its contents, past occupants both above and below stairs and by giving information on other areas of Harewood and forthcoming events.
Act as a physical security presence, ensuring the safety of Visitors, the House and its contents.
Assist with the evacuation of visitors in case of an emergency.
You do not need to have extensive knowledge of Harewood to begin with as this will be learned over time. But you should thoroughly enjoy meeting and engaging with people and be prepared to make a regular commitment throughout the season.
