Christmas Visitor Experience Team Member, 10-15 hours week, fixed term contract ending 3rd January 2022, £8.91 per hour

Christmas is back at Harewood and we’re looking for Team Members to help us deliver another magical season.  You’ll be working in a range of positions in the House or grounds, ensuring our visitors received a first-class experience.  We welcome applicants who are interested in working 10 – 15 hours a week, across 2 – 3 days.  Please see the full description which indicates some specific dates you would need to be available.

Christmas Elf, fixed term contract ending 23rd December, 13 days plus half day’s training, £8.91 an hour

Calling all Christmas Elves!  Do you want to support Father Christmas at Harewood this year to make sure our visitors to the grotto have a magical experience?  If you’re a positive and enthusiastic Elf with great people skills, we’d love to hear from you.  Please see the full description which gives the dates you will be needed.

Facilities Assistant, 40 Hours a week working 5 days over 7, permanent contract, £22,000 annually, closing date Thursday 28th October 2021, midnight

We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant who will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance, improvement works and inspections to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of Harewood House Trust to ensure the smooth running of our operations.  You’ll need experience in a similar role and be Part P certified.

Head of Learning & Access, 40 hours a week, permanent contract, £32,000 annually, closing date Tuesday 2nd November, midnight

Learning plays a key role in Harewood’s strategy to re-imagine the country house for the 21st century.  We’re now looking for someone to help us reinvigorate how audiences connect with us and develop inclusive and memorable learning experiences across formal education, family and communities.  If you have experience with children and/or young people across diverse and underrepresented communities, along with an understanding of the formal learning sector and learning audiences from Early Years to Higher education, we’d love to hear from you.

Collections Care & Access Assistant, 40 hours per week, permanent contract,  £18,532.80 annually,  closing date Sunday 24th October 2021, midnight

We’re looking for two Collections Care & Access Assistants who will, under the direction of our Conservation and Technical Officer, work to an annual housekeeping schedule, cleaning and preserving our Collection objects and historic interiors within the House.  If you’re interested in learning about preventative conservation techniques and can demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

Trading Assistants, Casual, immediate start to the beginning of January 2022, various hours available, £8.91 an hour

We’re looking for casual Trading Assistants who will interact with our visitors in both the retail and catering outlets across our site and we need you to provide them with an excellent customer service. It is likely you will have experience in a retail and/or catering environment but the most important qualities you must demonstrate are confidence and a passion for providing the best possible levels of service to all our visitors.  If you have customer service experience and you are able to work flexibly, positively and independently, we would love to hear from you.
