Join us for a summer of creative play with our brand new Playscape, created by the wonderful Wild Rumpus.

With over 100 acres of gardens to explore, Harewood House one of England’s 18th century Treasure Houses, is the perfect place to create lasting family memories. Running throughout the summer holidays, you are invited to join our new play experiences.

This summer, let your children’s imaginations run wild with our new pop-up loose parts play installation. Return again and again to see what new stories and games they can imagine with the loose play elements on each visit.

Join us on Sat 20 + Sun 21 July as we celebrate the start of Summer!

We will be joined by the Wild Rumpus Team, and the wonderful Raggle Taggle Arts for a weekend full of play, folk theatre performances, and a one man band – alongside our new Playscape installation, and a giant Marble Run to play throughout the weekend. The Playscape is recommended for ages 3+, and parental supervision is required at all times.

PLAYSCAPE + ROPE MAZE
Open daily 10am–6pm | Sun Sides

Visit our brand new Playscape throughout the summer and see just where your imagination takes you! Run around and explore as you make your way through our rope maze. The Playscape is recommended for ages 3+, and parental supervision is required at all times.

MINI ROVERS + LAWN GAMES
19 Jul—11 Aug + 20 Aug—2 Sep |10.30am–4.30pm | Play Terrace

Let your little ones take the wheel with our brand-new Mini Rovers. Enjoy Little Landys on our Play Terrace located just outside the Courtyard. Tickets can be purchased on the day from our Visitor Information Centre and why not have a go on one of our fun-filled lawn games while you wait? Perfect for ages 5-1o, under 4’s can join siblings as a passenger.

HOLIDAY CLUB

Back by popular demand, ensure your youngsters have a blast this half term with our Holiday Club. Drop them off for a full day of adventure at Harewood.

SUMMER SCAVENGER HUNT

Explore the grounds of Harewood with our Summer Scavenger Hunt and see how many different natural objects and wildlife you can spot.

COLOURING CART
Open daily 10am–6pm | The Courtyard

Make your way to the Courtyard to find our Colouring Cart. We have plenty of activity sheets and colouring to keep the family entertained whilst you are down in the Courtyard.

TREE TODDLERS
8 + 29 August | 10.30am–12pm | Sylvascope

Brand new for summer 2024, Tree Toddlers is designed for curious pre-schoolers aged 3-5. Our sessions are a delightful blend of fun & learning set amidst the beauty of the Harewood woodland. Every session is brimming with a wide array of activities & experiences that aim to ignite the young explorers’ curiosity. Children are encouraged to roam freely, discovering & engaging with activities that pique their interests.
