Calling all nature lovers! Harewood is famous for its Bird Garden and also its wild bird life, such as the red kites that soar over the park. Pick up a Member-exclusive Bird Watching Bag from the Visitor Information Centre in the Courtyard, to spend an hour or two as a Bird Explorer!
Bags contain an activity sheet, clipboard, pen and binoculars. Bags are one per Membership; must be returned at the end of your visit; and will be given out first-come, first-served each day. We recommend them for ages 4+ but all are welcome!

Get the family talking about the big issues tackled in our exhibition, Radical Acts: Why Craft Matters with our new Family Guide, created exclusively for Members. We suggest some talking points to get children (and adults!) engaged in ideas about sustainability, reuse, representation, and more. View the guide on your phone (the link is in your Summer Treats email), or ask for a printed copy in the Entrance Hall.
