Press visits prior to Le Grand Depart

Harewood welcomes press visits throughout the year. If you’d like to arrange a press trip prior to Le Grand Depart we’d be happy to welcome you. There are opportunities for press to cycle the route through the Estate, see the exhibitions and talk to our staff about the Festival of Cycling.

Call Alexis on 0113 218 1225 to arrange a press visit, request images or for quotes from Lord Harewood.

Press at the Official Ceremonial Start

Below is guide to assist press applying for ASO Press Accreditation to be at the Official Ceremonial Start:

Formal ASO accreditation for the Salle de Presse (start & finish lines, plus media rooms), allowing access to non-public areas: you need to register via the ASO at https://registering.aso.fr accreditation must be applied for before 20 June. Please note you *must* apply in advance, no accreditations will be issued on the day. Access to the Festival of Cycling does not admit you to ASO accredited media areas at Harewood.

Informal, route lining media work: outside of the start / finish pens there is no need for formal accreditation along the route. Usual rules apply especially with regard to children and requesting permission before filming takes place. Again, you do not need formal accreditation to work as a member of the media in towns along the route (except start & finish towns) but should notify the local authority if you wish to attend.

All formal accreditation questions need to be directed to Fabrice Tiano at the ASO (ftiano@aso.fr).
