11am – 1pm
Join us for a mindful walk in the beautiful environment of Harewood grounds. Mindful walking is an enriching and enjoyable way of being in nature and practising being present and aware. When we walk mindfully, the mind slows down and becomes steadier, calmer and quieter. We break out of our normal patterns of repetitive thinking and can simply be in the present moment, taking in and fully appreciating everything around us. We gain all the benefits of mindfulness, including relaxation and increased wellbeing, while also having fun and getting fitter! All are welcome, whether beginners or experienced meditators.
Our mindfulness walk will be led by meditation teacher Zeenat Cameron.
Your ticket for this event includes access to Below Stairs and the Grounds, so you are welcome to explore the rest of Harewood during your visit.
On arrival, please make your way to the entrance of the Courtyard, where Zeenat will meet you.
The walk will be led by Zeenat Cameron, meditation teacher and Director of Leeds based meditation centre Insight for Wellbeing. Zeenat is a keen hiker who loves exploring the gems of the Yorkshire countryside and who has been leading mindfulness walking retreats for the past few years.
Bookings can be made online, or alternatively please contact our Visitor Experience Team on 0113 218 1000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
