Robin Wood is passionate about traditional woodwork, about the value of people working with their hands and sharing the joy of these things with others. He principally makes traditional wooden bowls on a foot powered lathe, carves wooden spoons and makes tools to help others learn to carve.
Robin’s installation as part of the Harewood Biennial Radical Acts: Why Craft Matters is currently on display in the Bothy.
Following the success of our last summer craft festival, Make It Harewood is returning for 2022!
With a weekend packed full of workshops and demonstrations, visitors will have the opportunity to get hands on and learn from some of the leading talents in their respective crafts fields. As well as a range of intimate workshops for smaller groups, we will have drop-in sessions and beginners activities for all the family, so there will be plenty to keep you busy all weekend long.
