Join us this May for a willow workshop with artist Leilah Vyner, where you will make a bird feeder ideal for feeding you garden birds. Enjoy an afternoon of hands on making, an escape from your every day week, and join Leilah in learning a new craft, developing your creativity and skills in willow weaving.
As part of this workshop, Leilah will take you through step by step instructions in how to make your own Willow Bird Feeder. Everything that you make you can take home with you.
You will also have full access to the whole of Harewood House and grounds, for you to explore before your workshop begins.
All the tools are provided for the day, you can bring an apron if you want to protect your clothing.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or people who have tried willow before and want to try something different. No prior experience is needed. Please note that people with severe Arthritis in their hands will find the activity painful.
This workshop takes place in the Education Suite. On arrival at Harewood, please park in the main car park and make your way down the hill to the entrance of the Courtyard, where a member of staff will be there to meet you.
