10.30am – 4.30pm
Join artist Sandra Togher for a full day workshop and learn how to design and make your own wallpaper inspired by the work of Thomas Chippendale.
This workshop will start with a tour around the State Floor of the House, to see some of the magnificent furniture piece by Chippendale which will inspire your designs for the day.
You will then have the chance to design and make your own colour printing block, inspired by the patterns and styles seen in the House. At the end of the session you will have carried out some test piece prints so you can print to perfection at home, and create your own Chippendale inspired wallpaper.
The course will start with an introduction to the House and a chance to explore some of the Chippendale furniture around the State Floor.
Refreshments and a sandwich lunch will be provided on the day. Please notify us upon booking of any dietary requirements you may have.
On arrival, please make your way to the entrance of the State Floor for the start of the workshop.
Bookings can be made online, or alternatively please contact our Visitor Experience Team on 0113 218 1000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
