Delve into a voyage of the imagination this festive season, as Harewood recounts a Christmas tale and the House reveals its magic to all those in need of whimsical wonder …
Christmas is back and Harewood House has much missed the company of visitors from far and wide. Created by connoisseurs of make-believe Lord Whitney, the House shares its favourite memory of when a little girl was granted a festive wish to experience a Christmas like no other.
Never predictable or ordinary, join us in escaping into an immersive Christmas story across the State Floor and Below Stairs. Walk through beautifully decorated festive rooms, guided by the House itself, to relive the story of that magical night. With theatrical Christmas sets, starlit rooms, shadows dancing on the walls, moving set-pieces, poetic narration and a cinematic soundtrack, this Christmas at Harewood is not to be missed.

Admission tickets give access to all areas of the Christmas experience.
For 2021, you will need to book a timed ticket slot for Upon a Christmas Wish. Upon booking your tickets, you will be required to select a time slot for entry into the House. Day tickets for Members and non-Member will need to be booked / purchased online. Click here to book now >>
Timed ticket slots are set at one hour intervals.
Christmas at Harewood is FREE for Harewood Members, but you will still need to book your timed entry slot. You can find out more about membership here >>

About Lord Whitney
Lord Whitney are an innovative artist-led studio creating immersive experiences, performances and spaces that spark wonder and inspire curiosity. Returning to Harewood House following the success of multi-sensory installation ‘Seeds of Hope’, Lord Whitney bring their brand of cinematic fantasy to Harewood House this winter. Inspired by the idea that escapism can act as a tool for healing and connecting back to our own imaginations, Lord Whitney sees the creation of fantastical worlds as an opportunity to provide gentle intervention against the anxiety of the everyday. The joy of immersing in a great story can be transformative and healing, and is an art-form that crosses generations in inspiring wonder.
