11am – 3.30pm
Join Rachel from The Odd Sock House for this cosy and relaxing day of learning how to knit socks.
Whilst working on your mini sock, you’ll discover every aspect of sock construction and with hands on guidance from Rachel, you’ll learn how to turn a heel, decrease the toe and finish off with Kitchener stitch. During the workshop you can enjoy a seasonal lunch, expert tuition and a relaxing day in the Harewood grounds.
Included in the workshop price, you’ll take home a ball of Rowen Yarn sock yarn, a set of Knit Pro double pointed needles and a pattern for some adult socks so you can knit till every member of your family has a pair of handmade socks!
To take part in this workshop, you do need some basic knitting skills like how to knit, purl and rib.
