Saturday 30 October 2021
11.30am – 1pm
Join our Bird Garden Team for a practical session on preparing your garden or outdoor space so that it is a winter haven for small mammals, garden birds and insects.
We will look at which feed to offer in your bird feeders, create your own bug hotels from scratch and ways to encourage hedgehogs to hibernate safely in your gardens and the benefits to both humans and animals that these activities will bring. This will be a hands-on session, so remember waterproofs, wellies and wrap up well! Gardening gloves and any tools will be provided. Followed by Soup and a Sandwich in the Courtyard Café.
The opportunity to chat to Nick Dowling, Bird Garden & Farm Manager
