Wednesday 28 March 2018
6.30pm – 8.30pm

Spend an evening at Harewood as guests of Lord and Lady Harewood, and the Director of the Harewood House Trust, Jane Marriott.

We would be delighted for you to join us for the first, exclusive members’ only event of 2018, to celebrate the opening of Designer, Maker, Decorator, a new exhibition presented by Harewood. The exhibition coincides with the tercentenary of the birth of Sir Thomas Chippendale as part of the national Chippendale 300 celebrations.

Through Designer, Maker, Decorator, Harewood is recreating the story of his most ambitious commission, with special features including an innovative mirrored display of Harewood’s acclaimed Diana and Minerva Commode.

The event will be held in the House, with drinks on arrival in the Entrance Hall, followed by a short welcome from Lord Harewood and Jane Marriott, and the opportunity to take a first look at the new exhibition.

This is a members’ only event and requires you to book your place to attend. Please email membership@harewood.org to secure your place. There are a limited number of places available, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Do I need to book?

Yes! All members are required to book in advance as numbers are restricted. This event is now fully booked. To add your name to the reserve list, please email membership@harewood.org with your name, membership number and number of guests (these must be covered by your valid membership card).
