Make It Harewood

Saturday 6 – Sunday 7 July 2019

We are delighted to announce a new series of Hole & Corner curated workshops at Harewood as part of Useful/Beautiful: Why Craft Matters.

The event will take place in and around The Courtyard on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July, featuring a full programme of workshops and demonstrations, DJs and live music, a craft market, plus local food and drink.

Ticket Information

Whether it be throwing pottery, carving spoons, natural dying or sculpting with paper, visitors will have the opportunity to get hands on and learn from some of the leading talents in their respective fields. As well as a range of intimate workshops for smaller groups, we will have drop-in sessions and beginners activities for all the family, including three model making sessions each day with the world-famous Aardman Studio.

Each day will include a blacksmithing competition to see who can make the best nail, as well as a series of free Do Nothing Machine workshops, allowing everyone to simply play and have fun.

To complete the festival like atmosphere, we’ll be soundtracking the day from start to finish, with extended opening hours on Saturday night.
