An introduction to Granny squares – for those with basic crochet skills. The Granny square is a mainstay of many crochet projects over time, it is highly versatile and is a great way to use up leftover yarn. The workshop will introduce techniques for making basic granny squares such as working in a magic circle, working in rounds and turning corners.

Suitable for Age 12+
(under 16s require adult supervision)

About Kate Brittain

Kate has knitted from a young age, citing her long commutes on public transport as a time to hone her skills. After Graduating from the University of Westminster, studying fashion design, Kate went on to work in house at Alexander Mcqueen. She has since been sought out for her specialist skills in knit and crochet by design houses such as Burberry, Victoria Beckham and Rick Owens.
