Kate has knitted from a young age, citing her long commutes on public transport as a time to hone her skills. After Graduating from the University of Westminster, studying fashion design, Kate went on to work in house at Alexander Mcqueen. She has since been sought out for her specialist skills in knit and crochet by design houses such as Burberry, Victoria Beckham and Rick Owens.
Following the success of our last summer craft festival, Make It Harewood is returning for 2022!
With a weekend packed full of workshops and demonstrations, visitors will have the opportunity to get hands on and learn from some of the leading talents in their respective crafts fields. As well as a range of intimate workshops for smaller groups, we will have drop-in sessions and beginners activities for all the family, so there will be plenty to keep you busy all weekend long.
