Long Live the Christmas Tree!
HAREWOOD’S FESTIVE SEASON 2022
Encounter Harewood’s traditionally untraditional Christmas this coming winter, as Yorkshire’s most vibrant country house celebrates the Christmas Tree in a most unexpected way.
Artists and makers from across Yorkshire and beyond will bring a contemporary festive twist to the State Floor, creating trees (and ‘trees’) inspired by the natural world, winter rituals and Harewood itself. Long Live the Christmas Tree! will conjure the playfulness, joy and warmth of the season.
* Take advantage of Early Bird prices until 1 November
Christmas at Harewood
A great day out for the whole family, the stunning decoration of the House continues Below Stairs, with activities for children and Harewood’s beautiful Christmas Shop.
Take in beautiful winter strolls around the Gardens and Grounds, lit with thousands of twinkling lights. Seasonal snacks and drinks from our cafés and kiosks will keep you warm; for an extra special festive treat, book a Festive Afternoon Tea by the Harewood Food & Drink Project at the Terrace Tearoom.
For a perfect Christmas get-together, meet your friends at one of this year’s late evenings, every Friday and Saturday from 25 November to 23 December and take in Long Live the Christmas Tree! after dark.
Get ahead with our new Christmas shopping event at the Artisan Winter Market on Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 November. Curated by Little Bird Made, this event will bring over 100 independent makers to the North Front lawn at Harewood. The House will be closed as we install Long Live the Christmas Tree!, so take advantage of this event’s £5 tickets for a wonderful day of shopping, food and drink.
Tickets for Harewood’s Festive Season are available for Saturday 12 November to Monday 2 January (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Tickets include a timed slot for Long Live the Christmas Tree! and Below Stairs, plus access to the Gardens and Grounds.
