Join Leilah Vyner from Dragon Willow to learn how to create a rustic Handbag.

During this one day workshop, Leilah will guide you through the art of creating sculpture from willow. You’ll have the opportunity to get stuck in, working with your own willow and learning the techniques required to create your handbag. At the end of the day, you’ll be returning home with your lovely handbag, ready for summer garden parties and long days on the beach.

No previous willow weaving experience is needed to attend as this will be an opportunity to learn from the expert and give you the confidence to create your own sculpture. All materials and tools are provided.

The workshop will include a seasonal lunch provided by the Harewood Food and Drink Project.

Useful Information

• This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, including those who have never weaved willow before.
• Due to the nature of willow weaving, those effected by arthritis or with hand dexterity/mobility problems may find this workshop painful.
• Further details regarding arrival will be emailed to you 1-2 days before the workshop start time.

A 14 day cancellation policy applies to all workshops. As commercial workshops support our charitable activities, and materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than two weeks before the workshop date should you wish to cancel your place.

Should Harewood House Trust need to cancel a workshop, your ticket will be refunded in full.
